So JD247 has the Canon 7D, and the XHA1, as well as some kind of Sony I do not like. Why am I telling you this? Because this new camera is just in our price range and there are a lot of features we love about the Blackmagic. I think one of the reasons we like it is it is a great Cinema camera and it does not have the price tag of 20k to get rolling with the RED stuff. We use the 7D for movies and the XH for interviews for the most part, however this interview deserved the quality of the 7D’s shot, so we used that for the NAB event. If you are a Pro camera guy like us let us know what you think of the new BlackMagic.
Thanks and enjoy the interview.
